about me

I recently relocated from Gainesville, Florida to Washington DC. I specialize in designing highly usable, artful, and well-crafted websites using semantic XHTML/CSS. I am also proficient in Wordpress theme development, illustration, print design and layout. When I'm not designing beautiful websites, I enjoy playing the banjo now and then.

recent experience

I worked for over two years as a print designer for the University of Florida's University Relations Publications Group. During that time I also taught myself current web design best practices, as well as doing a two-month web development internship at Grooveshark, the highly acclaimed internet music startup.
